Temporary spllW~~i,~tifJll Banner Sil!ns for Athletic Fields at Mounds View Hil!h School. <br />Bethel University. and Northwestern Collel!e. Athletic fields at Mounds View High School, Bethel <br />University, and Northwestern College, in the R-I and B-1 Zoning districts may be pcrmitted to have <br />temporary sponsorship banner signs attached to the fences of their athletic fields. The intent of such <br />signagc is to recognize SpOl1sors of the athletic programs at Mounds View High Sehool, Bethel <br />Ul1iversity, and Northwestern College. Such signage shall face the field of play so that the impact of the <br />signage is directed only to those utilizing thc field or watching the sporting cvent, al1d not surrounding <br />property oWl1ers. In additiol1, to the greatest cxtent possible such signage shall not obstmct sightlines to <br />the athletic field for those watching the sporting evcnt from the bleachers or other designated viewing <br />areas. The content of temporary .~iI'~I~~ banner signage shall comply with the spol1sorship sign <br />regulations as established by Mounds View High School, Bethel University, and Northwestcrn College <br />for their respective athletic fields. The City Administrator or Administrator's designee shall determine if <br />the signage is visible from a public roadway or from property outside of Bethel Ul1iversity, Mounds <br />View High School, and Northwestern College.
