<br />. <br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Iw\ISEY COUNTY, Jl.lI]';?<ESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and noticc thereof, a regular meeting ofthe City COIlIlcil of the City of Rosevillc, <br />Minnesota, W", held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, April II, 2005 at 7:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following Iuembcrs were present: llllan, Maschka, Schroeder, Kough, and Klausing <br />and the following were absenl:. None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 10288 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION Al'PROVINGATTACHRD CONTRACT FOR <br />WATER SERVICES BETWEEN THE BOARD OF WATER COMMISSIONERS <br />AND THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, AND AUTHORIZING <br />TIlE I\1A YOR AND MANAGER TO SIGN SAlD CONTRACT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City ufRoscville, Minnesota, has purchased wholcsale water from the Board of <br />\Vater Commissioners of the City ofSt. Paul for 42 years; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the most recent agreement expired on May 24, 2004; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the City ofRosevillc and the Board of Water Commissioners have an interest in <br />continuing their relationship; <br /> <br />AND 'iVHEREAS, thc City of Rose vi lie and the Board of Water Commissioners have agreed upon a <br />new 20-year contract; <br /> <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of Roseville, JvuIllJesota, that the <br />Mayor and the City Manager are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf ofthe City to <br />execute and enter into a contract with the Board of Water Commissioners oflhe City ofSt Paul <br />prescribing the terms and conditions for the purchase ohnter services, a copy of which said <br />agreement was before the City Council and which is made a part hereofby reference. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoptiou of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Kough <br /> <br />upon a vote being taken thereon, thc following voted in favor thereof: Ihlan, Masehka, Schroeder, <br />Kongh, and Klausing <br />and the following voted against the same: none. <br /> <br />. \VHERElJPON saiel resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
