. . . ~ ~~ILLS CITY OF ARDEN HILLS COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 06-42 RESOLUTION RECEIVING PROPOSED SPECIAL ASSESSMENT ROLL AND PROVIDING FOR HEARINGS \VHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the council on July 31, 2006, thc City Administrator was dircctcd to preparc a proposcd assessment of the cost for the City of Arden Hills 2006 Pavement Management Program improvement of Siems Court between Lake Johanna Boulevard and the cuI de sac of Siems Court, Arden Place between Siems Court and Snelling A venue, Ridgewood Road between Lake Johanna Boulevard and Arden Place, Skiles Lane between Arden Place and Snelling A venue, tor the reconstmction of the street by the installation of asphalt paving, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, utility repair, landscaping and necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the City Administrator has notitied the council that such proposed assessment has been completed and tiled in her office tor public inspcction, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City Council that: I. A hearing shall bc held on thc 28th day of August, 2006 in the city hall at 7:00 p,m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning propeliy alTeeted by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of thc hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two wccks plior to the hearing, and shc shall statc in thc noticc the total cost of the improvement. She shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearings. 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certitication of the assessment to the county auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property, to the City Administrator, no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of the assessment. He may at any time thereafter, pay to the County Auditor the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 3 I of the year in which such payment is made.
