The City Council tabled the item to the June 19, 2006 Work Session for further <br />discussion. At that time, staff was directed to bring the report back with additional information. <br />At the Work Session, the City Council reviewed the report and showed support for a <br />combination of two options, Based on those discussions, staff has put together a proposed <br />replacement plan. <br /> <br />September 2006 <br />Move existing wanning house building (20 x 28 ft,) from Valentine Park to Freeway <br />Park. Hazelnut will be utilized as is for the 2006/2007 and the building condition will be <br />evaluated after the ice rink season. <br /> <br />Costs and Steps Involved: <br /> <br />. Tear down existing building at Freeway Park. This will be done by the 0 & M <br />Department. Tear Down: A one time fee of$285 for 20 yard dumpster. <br /> <br />· Lay a 20 x 28 Concrete Slab at Freeway Park. Norsk Concrete gave a eost <br />estimate of$2,800, <br /> <br />· Move existing wanning house from Valentine Park to Frecway Park. Semple <br />Movers gave a cost estimate of$4,000. <br /> <br />. Disconnect/Hook-up electrical from the building at Valentine Park before and <br />after thc move to Freeway Park. We received an estimate from Peoplcs Electl;c <br />for the electrical disconnect/ hookup for approximately $] ,650. <br /> <br />The total estimated cost estimate for the above option is $8,735 <br />
