URS Corp <br /> <br />File: <br /> <br />31809837 <br /> <br />From: Frank Ticknor/ URS Corp <br /> <br />Date: September 20, 2006 <br /> <br />Subject: 2006 Pavement Management Program, <br />Ridgewood Neighborhood <br />Constmction Contract Requesl for Payment #3 <br /> <br />Background <br />The City of Arden Hills awarded Amt Constmction Company, Inc, of Hugo, MN the 2006 <br />Pavement Management Program on June 12,2006 for a total contract amount of$I,808,584,32, <br />Change Order #1 and Change Order #2 have been approved by Council resulting in a current <br />contract amount of $ 1,703,3 14,16, <br /> <br />Project Status <br />The utility contractor has now completed storm sewer, forcemain, and watermain installation on <br />all the streets in the neighborhood, TIle only utilities left to build are the storm sewer piping <br />west of Siems Court which will be done in the next week or two, Tree removal has been <br />completed in the wetland area west of Siems Court and south of Lake Johanna Boulevard in <br />preparation for the pond excavation and the storm sewer installation, Curb & gutter and <br />driveway aprons were built on Skiles Lane, Ridgewood Road, and half of Arden Place, <br />Roadway base constmction has now been completed on Arden Place; Siems Court is the last <br />roadway base to be constmcted, The excavation of the retaining walls is currently taking place <br />in preparation for wall constmction, <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />URS recommends the Council approve Pay Estimate #3 for Amt Construction Company, Inc, of <br />Hugo, MN in the amount of$I72,153,78, <br />
