Richarcl Jones. <br />n�ir. Rolland Seltz, 3120 Ridgewood Road, came before the council in- <br />quiring as to whether his sewer assessment �vould be made by Arden Hills <br />or RosevSlle. His property lies,in part, in both villages. The Council <br />will take this matter up with the assessmant committee when the assAss- <br />ments in that area are evaluated, and give Mr. Seltz their report subsequent <br />to their meeting. <br />Iulr. John Daubney, cont�act i'or deed pu2�chaser, came before the Council t��ith <br />a request.to re-zone to iight industrial, a parcel of land, approximately <br />•65 acres, i�lest oi Lexington between the Soo Line tracks and Kowalski Rd. <br />Kennedy moved that_the request be brought before the Welfare Committee <br />for their consideration, and the date of ?�arch 14th, 1960, at 8;00 PM <br />be set for �iublic hearing. Seconded by Crepeau. Carried. <br />NYr. S. J. Krannack brought his propoaed plat o£ Shoz�ewood Hills #7 <br />befoi°e the Coupcil for their reconsideration, to rezone for multiple <br />dwellings. Coupcil requested that IvZr. Krannack get road elevations <br />from High�vay Dept., see our Village Attorpey as to legal descriptions, <br />and secure some tangible word from New Brignton that ha can secure water <br />and sewer from the Villa�?e of' Nev1 Brighton, be£ore taking any action. <br />Request f'or changes in New Highwa� #51 plans re; bridge over Hamline <br />Avenus was read by Mayor Ashbach from letter written by Eng. Don Carley. <br />Mayor Ashbach will write letter to Iiighway Dept. requesting these changes. <br />Kennedq reported that Ordinance ,�53, as attacned, was to be changed. in <br />accordance with letter writteq by Attoi°ney Courtney, and read bg A�Ir. <br />Kennedy. Kennedy moved that thie be considered the 3rd readin� of the <br />•ordinance and that Mr. Courtney now submit the final draft. Seconded <br />by Crepeau. Carried. <br />• <br />PUBLIC WnLFaRE COi�ZutITTiE: A report irom the Federal Housing A�inis- <br />tration was read wherein F.H.A. financing will be accepted onlrin new <br />subdivisions naving either public or commd�nity water systems; and� in <br />the case of existin� houses with individual wells, a statemept from a <br />competent aut,hority, sucn as t�e Health Dept. or independent laboratory, <br />will be required, showing tne well to be free from pollution as per the <br />F.A.A. specifications. <br />
