lo

ordered and ail of the people in this Improvement No. 3 hook up,
it just then means that you have more people connected to the
system so that the avezage cost would go down. As a result, it
would not be $36.40. For example. you have certain static costs
whether you have 5G connections oi 100 or 150. Supposin9 the average
cost is 3000 and you only have 5C connections, it means 'S0 people
have to pay for that 3,C0 cost. If you add 40G more connactionc
to it, the cost does not go up proportionately because the cost
does not go up in direct proportion to the number of people that
hook up and the service charge could be reduced, but we show it at
this higher figure and I am of the opinion that when everybody
hooks up in Improvements 1, 2 and 3, that the cost will be closer
to 3U, but again we wanted to give yon the worst possible picture.
Thon the next paragraph. "In order to determine your individual
total cost. multiply the front fooage of your property by $10.00,
as indicated in Item 5 above and add $50.Q0 for the service stub. '
Divide the total figure by 2G years to determine the yearly
assessment cost, and add 5% on the unpaid balance each year". ThQ
statute says that we can set up an assessment program over a priod
not to xceed 3C years. The 3U year period came about two years
ago but none of the communities are using thirty years. Most of
them use twenty. I know of none using thirty and I would have no
idea of how that would be received in tKe bond trade and ao we are
following the consistent patters of twenty years and if it's 20
years you divide the total assessment by 2C to get your princ3ffel
that would be due each year and it's 5 on the unpaid balance. You
can pay this up cash in advance and save the interest, or any time
