MINUTES QF RECJLAR NTEETING <br />COW CiL OF.THE VILIdiGE OF ARDEN HILI3 <br />�Ionday, 5eptember 26, 1960 <br />� <br />lJ <br />The maeting was called to ordar at 8:00 P.M. by scting D�iayor Crepeau. <br />Roll Call; Present; Crepeau, Kennedy, Jonds, Stromquist <br />Absent; �,shbach <br />The minutes of the Sept. 9, 1960 Council meeting were read and <br />approved. <br />The minutea of the Sept. 12, 1960 Couneil meeting were read and <br />approved. <br />Trustee Jones. <br />Robert Trobeaugh, 2028 �Iound Ave. compla3ned of late meetin�s and <br />much noise when people were leaving the meetings held at the Jehovah <br />Witriess church nex� door to him. He also complained of a lot of <br />mud on the church grounds and surrounding area becauae thsre is no <br />culvert ta drain the church property. The matter was referred to <br />Mr. Trobeaugh stated �tound Ave. is much in need of repair of large <br />holes in the road. Matter referred to Trustee Jones, <br />A requast by I�enneth Sparks as to whether or not a bui2ding permit <br />is req,uired to put a building on County property in Tony Schmidt <br />Park was referred to,�ttorney Courtney. <br />Mr. Jim M311er, 4482 No. Snelling requested <br />� Snelling Ave. betwaen Hg. 96 and Co. Ad F to <br />nuisances on the dark road. He stated that <br />and Hy 96 apparently has a burned out bulb. <br />Trustee Jones <br />an arc light on <br />eliminate certain <br />a 21ght at Snelling <br />Matter re£errad to <br />ATTORNEY'8 REPORT: Attorney Courtney presented an agresment <br />e aveen m. an uli� Zillioa and the Village of Arden Hil1s <br />granting an easemen� of the South 90� af the ZilZiox property to <br />the Village for ditching purposes. Courtney reported some changes <br />frosn original agraement and recommended that tha village approve it. <br />Motion by Kennedy, seconded by Stromquist that �Iayar be authorized <br />to sign the agreement and that the cost of the project be covered <br />by the village or other benefitted property owners than Zilliox <br />carried. <br />pttorney Courtney reportad that he found nothing in L�Iinnesota <br />• atatutes preventing electioq judges from eubmitting an advisory <br />balZot on a water works pro�ram to the votere at the general <br />election but that expens� of the poll must be kept to an absolute <br />minimum. Motio❑ made by Kennedy, saconded bg Stromquiet that <br />Attorney prepare and Gouncil make availabla to the votars at the <br />coming General electioq an advisorg ballot re: a central water <br />system for the Villa�e of Arden Hills.
