Honan and Cierk Administrator lorrafne <br />Stromqutst <br />Minutes <br />The minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of Octobar 13, 1969 were <br />approved as amended. <br />Casa No. 69-10. Hamm's Landscape Plan <br />Carl Bourman, Schweitzer Construction Company. presented landscape <br />pians for the above butlding and requested Council approva) in ad- <br />vance of Planning Commission action, <br />Clerk Admin(strator Lorraine Stromquist read the report submitted <br />by Planner Carl Dale on this subJect. <br />Councllman Henderson moved approval of the landscape plan, subfett <br />to approval of the Planning Commission, with a compte'lio� dete of <br />June I, 1970 snd the submission of a$5,000 performance bond; se- <br />conded by Councflman Crepeau; motion carried uaanimously. <br />E3USINESS FROM THE FLOOR <br />None <br />REPOR7 OF ATTORNEY VINCEWT P. COURTNEY <br />Proposed CurfeH Ordinance <br />Councilman Crepeau moved� seconded by Counciiman Olmen, that AN <br />OROINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 44, IMPOSING RESTRlCT�ONS ON <br />MINORS UNDER THE AGE OF EIGHTEEN YEARS AND ESTAF3LlSHIN� CURFE�9 <br />PROYISiONS THEREFOR, I�APOSING DUTIES ON PARENTS, �UARDIANS AND <br />07tIER ADULTS WITH RESPECT TO TNE CARE OF SAID MINORS, PR9YIDING <br />PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION be introduced by fiitle; motion carried <br />unanimous(y. <br />Shorewood Orive - CountV Road D Access <br />A question from Attorney Courtney about the access to Shorewood <br />Drfve from County Road D was reterred to Engtneer Lund. <br />Refn Lftiqation <br />Attor�ey Courtney reported that C.�. Rein was denied an appeat for <br />a new triaf In Distr►ct Court and that his attorney states they <br />will now appeal tv the Supreme Court. <br />On recommendation of'Attorney Courtney, the Councii agreed to waive <br />the 5250.00 cost bond otherwise required by C.G. Rein lt the case is <br />further appealed. <br />4later Improvements 68-2 and 68-3 <br />Attorney Courtney reported that he had called the Chicago HU0 otfiee <br />twice last week and was assure+d by Mr. Henderson that the Grant <br />Agreement for these improvements was executed by FIUD officials on <br />October 20, 1969, a�d that the Village should procaed to award t�e <br />contract; hoaever, the approved contract has not been returned to <br />the Village due to a stenographic poof probiem in Chlcago. <br />Mr. Greiling, Area Representative for HUD, conffrmed ta Mr. Courtney <br />��—#-- that the Grant Agreement was approved on October 20, and instructed <br />the Viilage to proceed by awardtng the contracts. <br />
