Courtney, Village <br />Engineer ponald Lund, Maintenance Supervlsor EvBreti E. <br />Beecher, Cterk Administrator Lorraine Stromquist and <br />Deputy Clerk Florence M, tlonan <br />PAinutes <br />The minutes of <br />were approved <br />the Regular Councif �deeting of September t5, i969 <br />as amendad. <br />BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR <br />Valentine Lake View Plat No. 2 <br />James Johnson, plat developer, appeared before the Couneil to re- <br />quest the Village to em �h��e���snow this wlnter #rom the cul-de- <br />sac at the end of C��,�`�","'"hich amounts to about 200 feet. <br />Ile informed the Council that the cu4-de-sac is pPepared for blackto <br />and he has received b(ds, but would like to delay blacktopping unt I <br />after the sewer is installed next year. Engineer lund also recommend- <br />ed this procedure. <br />Matter referred to Mr. C?eecher to inspect the grading of this and the <br />other cui-de-sacs in this plat that are not yet dedicated to the <br />Vil�age to check if they are sutficiently graded to eliminate damage <br />to 4fllage equfpment when plowtng. <br />P�layor I�jorndahi answered an inquiry from Stan Berglund, 4133 James <br />Circie, by stating that if James and Gale Circles were satistactorily <br />graded, they atso will be maintained by the Village. <br />REPDRT OF ATTORNEY VINCENT P. COURTNEY <br />irlater Easement 682-6 <br />A5 recommended by Attorney Sa4tand in his lettet' to the Councfl, <br />dated September 19, 1969, Councilman Crepeau moved, seconded by <br />Councilman Hoifenhorst, that the license be executed and $221.60 be <br />paid to the Soo Line Raiiroad tor Easement 682-6; motton carried <br />unanimously. <br />Ordinance Amendment Revised Inspection Fees - First Reading <br />Counciiman Ho�lenhorst moved, seconded by Councilman 61men that AN <br />ORDINA(�CE AMENDING ORDINANCE PJO. 93, THF BU�L�ih6 CODE, t3Y REVISlNC, <br />THE PERMIT FEES FOR PLUMBING AND SEWAGE DISPOSAL, ELECTRICAL AND <br />HEA7ING ANU AIR CONOITIONlNG AND PROVIDING PROVISIONS REGARDING <br />HEATING PLANS, INCINERATORS AND GAS PIPING he introduced by title <br />and g(ven its First Raading; motion carriod unanimously. <br />Ordinance Draft, Screaninq of f,9echanical EquiPment <br />Atfiorney Courtney informed the Council that this draft will be ready <br />for Councii consideration at the Regular Councii Meeting of October <br />13, t969. <br />Squad Car Specfficattons <br />Attorney Couri-ney stated that the specifications for a 197D squad <br />car wilt be ready for the Spacial Councfl Meeting, scheduled � <br />October 6, 1969. <br />HUD Grant Agreement and other pocuments <br />Rttorney Courtney informed the Councii that the HUD Grant Agreement <br />� a�d other documents ta be axecuted by the Viilage have been received. <br />Ho read thc: letter, the Agreement - dated Septamber 26, t969 - and <br />attachments F3 and A.
