CHRISTOFFERSEN: Janet Estates includes the construction <br />of sanitary sewer, watermain, streets and drainage for the <br />Janet Estates development. <br />MAYOR CREPEAU: Mr. Peter Popovich will briefly elcplain <br />the financing. <br />MR. POPOVICH: This matter was 100 percent petitioned for. <br />There was no neaessity for a feasibility hearing. . It's 100 <br />percent assessed. The total cost is $119,591. There are some <br />15 lots involved. <br />The sanitary sewer comes out to $2,230 per lot; water is <br />$1,450 per lot; storm sewer $1,343; and there are nine lots <br />of street at $4,913 per lot. <br />The assessment will be spread for 20 years at 8� with the <br />right of prepayment. <br />ASRS. MC NIESii: There were no written coimnunications. <br />Mayor Crepeau announced that the meeting was open for the <br />cons3deration of objections, if any, to the proposed assessment. <br />All persons present were then given the opportunity �o present <br />oral objections. _ <br />No one appeared to be heard. . <br />Mayor Crepeau closed the hearing and Councilman Wingert <br />introduced the following resolution and �ved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-43 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND CONFIRMING <br />SMENTS FOR IMPROVEMEN'i' N�. SS-W-P-78-1 <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden <br />• Hills, Minnesota, as follows: <br />1. The amount proper and necessary to be specially assessed <br />at this time for Improvement No. SS-W-P-78-1 against every <br />assessable lot, piece or parcel of land a£fected therehy <br />has been duly calculated upon the basis of benefits, without <br />regard to cash valuation, in accordance with the provisions of <br />Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, and notice has <br />been duly mailed and published, as required by law, that this <br />Council would meet to hear, consider and pass upon all objec- <br />tions, if any, and said proposed assessment has at all times <br />since its filing been open for public inspection, and an oppor- <br />tunity has been given to all interested persons to present <br />
