Cre¢eau, Jr., Councilmen Ward Hanson and <br />• Robert Woodburn. <br />Absent: Councilmen Charles Crfchton, James Wingert. <br />Aiso Present: Rice Creek Watershed District Board of Managers <br />and Engineer, Mayors of Sho�'evlew� awr�W i�ea� <br />Township, ��- <br />A general review of East summer's flooding was conducted togethe� <br />witb the control fiactlities that are now in place in the district. <br />At present there is no means af cont�olling periodic high volume <br />water in a single portion of tha district to hold back 3ts effect <br />downstream, but there is a lot of data pubiished in the "Lake <br />Johanna Survey" that could be useful if appited to future ert�r- <br />gencies, Fortunately, there appears to be no imminent danger <br />from the sprtng meft thls year. <br />(t xas concluded the District�s municipai planners, engineers, <br />ptanning commissions, zoning administrators and counciis would <br />benefit from a technical seminar on the aforementioned report <br />and fihe RCWD Board agreed to conduct one before the end of April, <br />if possible. <br />In add3tion, they �greed to hofd another <br />interesYed pari-ies shortly after the data <br />the lRp'J�ry:' survey currently in progress. <br />The mseting adJour�etl at 9:20 p.m. <br />�/�,f'''��� � <br />Char9ot�te" sh �?��- <br />Clerk Administrator <br />seminar for the same <br />becomes available from <br />�!
