Beth <br />n• �wcvn� �v <br />lynden referred Councii to draft of Ordinance rezonl�g ths <br />Bethel Goilege campus from R-1 to L-B; noted that fhe iegal <br />• descrtptlon encompasses the Befhei-owned properties <br />bounded by Old Highvray 10, 9-694, Highway 51 and Soo Line <br />RailHay. <br />After discussion, Hanson moved that this is the ist and 2nd <br />readings of the ordinance; the rules have 6een wgived and <br />that Councii approves Ordinance No. 201, AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDVNG ORDlNANCE N0. 99, 7HE ZONiNG ORDINANCE, BY REZONING <br />CERTA3N PRORERTY SlTUATED WESTERLY AND SOUTHERLY OF STATE <br />TRUNK HBGHWAY N0. SI AND 9NTERSTATE H6GNWAY N0. b44, <br />NORTHERLY OF THE S00 LVNE RA7LROAD COMPANY R1GH7-OF-WAY, <br />AND NORTHERLY AND EASTERIY OF STATE TRUNK HflGHWAY N9. 10; <br />authorizes its execution by the Mayor a�d Cierk Administrafior. <br />Motion was secondad by Woodburn and carried unanimausly. <br />B. �nterim Special Use Permit - Case No 78-5 antl cass_no. rr- <br />• � Attorney Lynden refierred Council to a d�a�t of the Bnter3ro <br />Special Use P�rmit, noting iha'i the ls5uance ot an Onterim <br />Special Use f'ermit was epproved by Councii with the <br />contingency �ind proviso that a Finai Special Use Permit <br />would be developed wi#hin the near �uture whici� would <br />encompass the enfire campus area jus4 rezoned 4rom R-i to <br />L-B, and would legitimlze its currentiy non-conforming <br />� college use; there would be conditions promu6gated by the <br />Council which wouid include the "as built" structures and <br />future develcpmenf of the campus site; interim Special Use <br />f Permit is to accornmodafie fihe app.lican"r in his plans for <br />construction of the �two dormitories and the additlon to the <br />Learning Resource Center. <br />Woodburn expressed tha need for a Specie!
