Ashbach <br />moved that tne Council instruct the Luilding Inspector to depy the <br />permit. Jonas seconded. Carried. <br />i��r. Aennedy reported on tne rough draft recommendations for an im- <br />proved well drillin� ordinance being dr�i'ted, giving tne Village <br />better coa�trols over well drillers, llr. Sekhon suggested that <br />Arden Hills require the State Board of Health to inspect wells of <br />multiple dwelliags and public buildin�s. <br />The rezoning request by Mr. DeCoster to rezone from R-2 to Industrial <br />the area ti'Jest of tne Daubney.tract, has been given fayorable ap�;roval <br />by the ��delfare Conmiittee, nut Nir. DeCoster has not, as yet, come up <br />with a suitable use for the area. The request has therefore been <br />tabled until a suitable use is presanted. <br />• i�dr. Kennedy said he rvill meet with the Playground Corrunittee and that <br />he haa discuesed the possinle use of school grounds for use by the <br />Little Lea�ue teams with I�r. Ohlman. i�2r. Chlman Yvas in Savor of <br />such groups usipg the school �;rounds, �:roviding they did not interfere <br />with other activities a].readp organized. Kennedy sug�;ested that a portion of Tony Schmitt park could prob- <br />e.�l�* lend itsel£ very nicely for soft ball or little league, and <br />possibly the covnty cou�d be asked to rnaiqtain a ball park there, <br />tnat little league teams might use. <br />May'or Ashbach su�gasted the corner, now held by the Highway Department, <br />at the intersection of Highu�aps 10 apd 51, for a ball park location, <br />aftex� the new highway goes tnrough and tnat corner is reverted back <br />to the County. <br />• iV?r.
