The CounCii <br />concurred in the recommendafiion that residents be allowed to secure <br />water permits for installation of outside wafier lines from the curb <br />box to restdences prior to completion of mains. <br />Councilman Nolienhor5t reported that severai areas in Shorewood Hilis, <br />inctuding Venus, Fairview aod Gienview Avenues, are interested in <br />connoctions to municipal water as soon as possibfe. Councilman Crepeau <br />. reportad that Richard Kiene had requested that oak trees be saved <br />via augering if necessary, in the vicinity of the lift station et <br />Ridgewood Road and Arden Place. Matters referred to Engineer Lund <br />and Mainfenance Sup3rvisor Beecher. <br />REPORT OF COUNCiLMAN JOHN HOLLENHORST - Pianning and Zo�ing <br />Case No. 69-32 - Marceila Sexton <br />Councilman Hoilenhorst moved approval of a Special Use Pe�mit for <br />Marcella Sexton to operate an antique shop on Lake Johanna Boulevard, <br />providing that it be reviewed annuai4y at Counci! discretion. Se- <br />conded by Councilman Crapeau; motion carried unanimously. <br />Qus Shelter Af Bethel Colleqe <br />Counciiman Hollenhorst moved that the Bethe! College requesfi be grant- <br />ed, providing fihe shelter is of z temporary nature, similar to the <br />type located at Floral Drive and Hamiine Avenue. GRAY NENp£RSON - Finance <br />Councilman Henderson reported on a recent meeting with Treasurer <br />Read, Clerk Admi�tsfirafiar Stromqui>t and Fiscal Agent Popovich. Mr. <br />Popovich is doing a preliminary study nf interim and long term finan- <br />cing.
