Mlnu�es of Regular Council Meeting August 13, 1979 <br />Lot l2 of the existing house on Lot il. Miller explatoed that both <br />prooerty :owners have signed the apptication proposing a"land trade" <br />be made between lots 11 and !2 to cor�ect �he encroachment. <br />Miiler indicaYed the proposed re-alignme�t of the common property line, <br />Mhich Increases the width of Lot II on Sie�s Court by 12�. and of Lot <br />12 on the lake by i2'; noted that this pfi.Yot.of the lot ifne locaies <br />the existing house 8' from the lot line; a setback variance of 2'; <br />exp0ained that the applicants ar•e not aree�able to a greater pivot of <br />the fine whlch would place the house in conforma�ce because of .-�dTf- <br />ficult land contours and existing trees. Mtller reporfied that the Pia�- <br />ning Commission recommends approval �f the request. . <br />Wingert moved, second�d by Woodburn, fhat Cauncl! approve th� (ot split <br />•and consolfdation as indicated o� Certitirate of Su�vey, dated 6/20/79. <br />Motion c�rried unanimovsly. <br />Miller referred Council to transparencfes indtcating the ex(st6ng house <br />and proposed expansioo and to fhe Planntng Commisslon recommendations <br />SMinutes of 8/1/79). Mi�ler exp�ained that the hou�e, as locatad on trhe <br />lot, encroaches on the north.and south side setbacks; exist(ng south <br />setback vArlance is b' (4' from proposed line); proposed addition wfl.t <br />encroach 4° on south setback (6' irom property Iin�); reported tfiat <br />adjacent nelghbor has no obJection to the enc�oachmecit, hou�e ts located <br />d3agonally on the lot, proposed enfargement of house is not unreelistic; <br />reported that Planning Commission recom�ends approval. <br />Wingert moved, seconded by Noodburn, that Counctt approve the 4' stde: <br />setback variance as requested, based on land and struc4ura! hardships. <br />Motion carried unenimously. <br />-18, Karth Lake Estates Thi <br />Miller refe�red Council to ht� report of 7/24/79, Planning Commission <br />Minutes of 8/1/79 and ?o traasparancfes showing the proposed Prelimi�ary <br />Plat of Karth Lake Estates Thfrd Addition, which comprises a re-plat <br />of Lot 55, Bfock 1, Karth Lake Estates, and porttons of the Pilgrim Hause <br />property and Outlot B, Karth.Lake Estates. Miller reported that the <br />Subdivtslon, consisting of.5 lots, all exceeding the minimum 14,000 sq. ft. <br />requlremenfi and al{ ara 95' aide or greater; lots 2 thru 5 excsed the <br />minimum depth requlremen4; {ot I(replatted iot 55, bJock 1, Karth L�ke <br />Estates) hes a meen Gepth of i16°, reduced by 4' because of the narrowtng <br />o� the 4ot.
