�oT=cs aF saz.� <br />$93 � 000 SAIVSTA:RY SEfrdER TMPROVEMENT BOD1D5 , S812I85 8 <br />VILLAGE OF AttDEIJ HI'LLS, RANSBY COUNTY, MINNESO'i�+ <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Village of <br />Arden Hills, Minnesota, will meet in the Council Chambers of tY� <br />Village Fiall in said Village at 8s00 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday, <br />the 17th day of September, 1963, to receive, open and consider <br />sealed bfds for and award the sale of its negotiable coupon general <br />obligation Sanitary Sewer Improv�nent Bonds, Series E, in the <br />principal amount o£ $93,000, to be issued to pay expenses inaurred <br />and to be incurred in the construction of Sanitary Sewer Improvement: <br />• No. 5 aad No. 6, pursuant to the provisiona and under the authority <br />of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. Said bonde will be dated <br />October 1, 1963, will bear interest at the rate or rates to be <br />designated by the succesaful bidder in integral multiples of 1/4 <br />or 1/10 of 19b per annum, payable October 1, 1964, and semiannually <br />thereafter on April 1 and October l of each year and will mature <br />serially on October 1 in the years and amounts as follows: <br />$4,000 1965 - 1966 <br />5,000 i967 - 1983 <br />The'bonds maturing in the years 1974 through 1983 will be <br />callable at ii�e option of the village on October 1, 1968, ana any <br />interest payment date thereafter at par and accrued intereat plus a <br />premium of 296 of the par value thereof if prepaid on or before <br />April l, 1973, and v� thout premium if prepaid on or after <br />October 1, 1973. Of the bonds outstanding at the time of redemption <br />those bearing the highest coupon rate will be prepaid ffrst, in <br />inverse order of their serial numbers. <br />Principal and interest will be made payable at such banking <br />institution in the United States named by purchaser. The bonds <br />will be issued in denomination of $1,000 or $5,000 each, as <br />desired by purchaser. Purchaser is requested to advise the villaqe <br />of denomination and paying agent desired withia 48 hours after the <br />sale. The village wi11 furniah, without cost to the purchaser, and <br />within 30 days after date of sale, the printed and ex�cutefl bonds <br />and approving legal opini.on of Messrs. Dorsey, Owen. Marquart, <br />windhorat & west of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Messrs. Petereon 6 <br />Popovich af St. Paul, Minneaota, together with certificate stating <br />that there is then no litigation threatened or pending, affecting <br />the validity of the bonds. <br />Sealed bids marked "Bfd for $93,000 Bonda" must be mailed or <br />delivered to the undersigned Vfllage Clerk end must be received at <br />her office prior to the time of ineeting. Oral auction bids will <br />• not be considered. 8ach'hid must be unconditional except aa to <br />legality and must be accompanied by a cashiers or certified check <br />in the amount of $1,860 payable to the Village Treasurer to be <br />reiained as liquidated damages in case the bid be accepted and the <br />bidder shall fail to comply therewith. All bonds of a single <br />maturity shali bear a uniform basic rate of intereet from date of <br />issue until paid and the basic rate of interest payable on each <br />'bond of theiBaue must not exceed the basic rate of interest payable <br />on other bonds of the same or subsequent msturities.
