<br />/ <br />-" -... <br />,..-.. . <br /> <br />-' <br /> <br />Minutes of Special Meeting <br />COuncil of the Village of Arden Hills <br />Monday, June 21, 1965. <br /> <br />/. . <br /> <br />The Special Meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by Mayor <br />Kennedy. <br /> <br />Roll Call: Present - Mayor Kennedy, Trustees Crepeau, Olmen and <br />Nethercut. <br />Absent - Trustee ~ang. <br />Also Present - Administrative Clerk Lorraine Stromquist, <br />member of the Arden Hills Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Mayor Kennedy requested Bob Jenal, Chairman of the Planning Comm., <br />to conduct the meeting as it was called for the purpOse of giving <br />study to the proposed Comprehensive Plan and especially to Report <br />No.4 - Proposed Zoning Regulations. <br /> <br />A copy of the minutes of this meeting, submitted by the Secretary <br />of the Planning Commission, is attached. <br /> <br />The proposed Zoning Regulations Ordinance through Page 14 Was re- <br />viewed by the Council and the Planning Oommission. The next joint <br />meeting was set for Thursday, July 8. 1965, at 8:00 p.m. at the <br />Village Hall. <br /> <br />_..~'.'-'..-.~-"". <br /> <br />The joing meeting was adjoi-ned .~t', adjourned' at 11:30 p.m. with the <br />Council remaining to take action on the following: I <br /> <br />Re%Uests for Fireworks D1S~iaY <br />Mo ion by crepeau, seconde by Olmen, that the Island Beach Club <br />b&iallowed to oonduct a fireworks display from a raft on Lake <br />Johanna on the evening of July 4, 1965. Carried. Clerk to so <br />inform Richard Kiene', President of, the Club. <br /> <br />Motion by Crepeau, seoonded by Olmen, that a request for s permit <br />to display fireworks at ];249 Tlller,.L9ne by a neighborhood group <br />of 10 to 12 families be denied, unless they wish to do so with <br />some org~nized Village group suohas,one of the improvement ass'na. <br />Car~ied. Clark to so inform Mr. Tam Bauman. <br /> <br />Resignation and' Appointment of Police Officer <br />Motion by Crepeau, seconded by Nethercut, that the resignation <br />from the p811ce torce by Roger Reiling be accepted effective <br />Jur.e 21, 1965. Carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Crepeau, seconded by Nethercut, that James Little be <br />hired as a part time pOlice officer at $2.20 per hour effective <br />June 21, 1965.
