Commissioncr Larson noted stcps, decks and ramps wcre considcred a part ofthc principal structure. Chair Sand stated it did not make scnsc to havc a 6 foot setback for an opcn deck and a 10 foot setback for an cnclosed porch. Commission~r Larson statcd a dcck was not integratcd into the primary structure, where an enclosed porch needed to be compatible with the existing rootline. Commissioner Holmes believed New Brighton also had this type of a program and suggestcd staff chcck with that City as to what their ordinancc said. E. PLANNING COMMISSION 2005 TENT A TIVE MEETING DATES Mr. Clark presented the tentative meeting dates for the 2005 Planning Commission . meetings. Commissioner Zimmennan askcd if they wanted to hold a Planning Commission mecting on July 6 or should they hold it thc following week to avoid vacation conflicts. Mr. Clark askcd if they also wanted to move the Scptember meeting to the following week becausc of the Labor Day holiday and that start of school. Chair Sand also notcd thcy might need to changc the Junc meeting due to Memorial Day. F. PLANNING COMMISSION 2005 PC WORK PLAN Mr. Clark noted thc Planning Commissioner 2005 Work Plan would be prescnted at the February meeting. REPORTS A. Planning Commissioners Nonc. B. Staff .
