<br /> ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - N"ovcmbcr 20,1006 <br /> City Administrator Wolfc said that thc City stalT would bc more than willing to host a <br /> neighborhood mccting to discuss thc TCAAP project. <br /> Councilmcmbcr Holdcn askcd if the newslettcrs regarding the TC AAP projcct will be distributed <br /> by the developer in the near future, <br /> City Administrator Wolfe said that City staffwill discuss this issue with the developer. <br /> Community Devclopmcnt Director Barton said that a TC AAP consultant mecting for the City <br /> Council is recommended as an opportunity for members of thc City Council to mect with <br /> consultants and have an opportunity to understand their roles and responsibilities in the TCAAP <br /> project. Each of the different consultants could provide a brief overvicw of thcir roles and <br /> responsibilities in this projcct. <br /> Mayor Aplikowski noted that it was more important for the ncw City Council and Planning <br /> Commission mcmbcrs to meet with thc TC AAP consultants. <br /> City Administrator Wolfe said that City staff will work on organizing a TCAAP meeting to bring <br /> the new members of the City Council up-to-speed rcgarding the TCAAP project prior to January <br /> 1007, <br /> TCAAP Mastcr Dcvelopment Advisory Group- <br /> Community Development Director Karen Barton noted that stafr is recommending the formation <br /> of a TC AAP Master Dcvelopmcnt Advisory Group to bc appointed by the City Council. The <br /> mission of the group would be to mect with Hoisington Koegler Group, Ync (HKGi), the City's <br /> mastcr dcvclopmcnt consultant for TC AAP, to provide input and feedback on proposed plans ror <br /> thc TC AAP projcct. At this time, City stalT is proposing thc following structure for the advisory <br /> group: <br /> . Onc or t\VO mcmbers from the City Council; <br /> . Onc or two mcmbers from the Planning Commission; <br /> . One or two members from the Economic Development Commission; <br /> . Onc or two mcmbers fi"om the Parks, Trails, and Recreation Committee; and <br /> . Onc or two members from the community at large, <br /> Mayor Aplikowski reconullended that twelve mcmbers bc appointed to the advisory group. <br /> Councilmembcr Iloldcn suggcsted that more citizens be appointed to the advisory group. <br /> Councihllember Larson recommended that a mission or charge for the group be creatcd prior to <br /> appointing members. It would be a good idca to appoint professional planncrs or architects that <br /> live in Arden Hills on the advisory panel. <br /> City Administrator Wolfe said that the charge of the group would be to rcview proposcd concepts <br /> related to the TC AAP projcct and providc input to the Counci I. <br /> 10 <br />
