Provides support to county and local incident commanders <br /> regarding suspected chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, <br /> and explosive (CBRNE) weapons of mass destruction <br /> b_ Provides assessment and emergency response assistance on <br /> CBRNE issues to local incident commanders. <br /> 2. Department of Homeland Security (DHS )/Federal Emergency <br /> Management Agency (FEMA) <br /> a. Coordinates overall Federal response <br />. b. Provides Federal resources and assistance to State and County <br /> governments. <br /> c. Ensures Federal support exists for recovery operations. <br /> 3 lIS Coast Guard <br /> a. Provides On-Scene Coordinators for transportation and <br /> fixed facility HAZMAT incidents, as required. <br /> b. Provides for notification and evacuation of <br /> waterways during emergency situations. <br /> c. Provides resources and support as requested <br /> within its capabilities and as permitted by law. <br /> 4. FBI <br /> a. Lead law enforcement and investigative agency for terrorist <br /> events or other situations which constitute a violation or <br /> possible violation of federal law <br /> b.
