Responsibilities for FOC Activation In the event of a major disastn. EOC staff would be expected to automatically report to the EOe. EOC Staffing E()C Staf"ling lists are on file with the Map1ewood Emergency Management Director and include: . Mayor . City Managcr . Assistant City Manager . Emergency Management Director . City Planner . City Attomey . City Finance Director . Public Works Director/City Engineer ~ i . Parks and Recreation Director I . Police Chief I I . Fire Chief I . Deputy Fire and Deputy Police Chief I Each departmenL/agency which is rcpresented in the EOC is responsible for I ensuring that its representative is familiar with the duties which he/she is I expected to perform at the EOC (each department/agency shall develop a checklist of responsibilities to be carried out by its EOC representativc). This checklist will indicatc when additional EOC stall will be required and when they should be released from the EOC. Ramsey County EMlIS may he requested to provide a representative to the EOC to coordinate the county's response. Space will be provided in the EOC l()r county, state. and tl'deral officials, should their presence be necessary. Such officials \vill be briefed regularly as to the status of the disaster. City officials, however, will remain responsible for providing direction and control of the city's response to a disaster. , Family members of FOe stall' or essential workers may be relocated to the Maplcwood Community Center for their safety and security if they wish. .
