The line of succession to the Mayor is as f()llows: <br /> I Mayor <br /> 2 Acting Mayor <br /> 3 City Manager <br /> 4 Assistant City Manager <br /> Command alld Control issucs <br /> For Emergencies/Limited Scope Disasters <br /> An incident command system (ICS) may be established to direct the initial <br /> response by city f{)rces to the event. (If ICS is implemented, the first <br /> aniving senior official will serve at the incident commander until helshe is <br /> properly relieved). [f organizational control of the incident escalates <br /> beyond the capability of field command, the City Emergency Operaing <br /> Center (FOC) may be activated to provide overall command of the <br /> incident. This will generally become necessary when the incident covers a '. <br /> large geographic area, multiple locations, and/or when multiple responding <br /> agencies are involved.
