Since Septcmber I I, 2001, emergency <br /> management and homeland security have become very important issues for local govemment <br /> entities. The Ramsey County Emcrgency Management and Homeland Security Department has <br /> becn working with local governments in Ramsey County for a number of years in creating an <br /> Emergency Operations Plan that is user friendly and can be used coullty-wide. <br /> For your review, please find attached a copy of thc City's Emergency Operation Procedurcs and <br /> a copy of the Ramsey County Emergency Management Plan that \vas adopted by the City <br /> Council on November 14, 2005. City staff is currently working with Ramsey County on <br /> updating thc contact information for new City Councilmembcr's and City stafl'. <br /> Recommendation <br /> City staiT is requesting City Council input regarding the City's Emergency Opcration Procedures <br /> and the Ramsey County Emergency Operations Plan. <br /> Attachments: <br /> .
