In carrying out this responsibility, the director <br />will contad the Minnesota Dcpartment of Public Safety, Division of Homeland <br />Security and Emergency Management (HSEM) regional program coordinator. <br />This person can provide technical inl()rnlation and assistancc, if requcsted. <br /> <br />An outline of expected state and federal support is detailed earlier in this <br />plan. A more exhaustive summary of state and federal disaster assistance <br />that may be available is contained In the Minnesota Emergency <br />Management Director's Handbook. This document is on file with EMHS. <br /> <br /> <br />STATE AND FEDERAL AGENCIES <br /> <br />A summary of State and Federal programs available to local governments <br />that are experiencing or have experienced a disaster is contained in the <br />Minnesota Disaster Management Handbook and the Recovery from <br />Disaster Handbook.
