<br />Subd. 7 Revil"\\' Procedure. The pennit application shall be reviewed by the City . <br />Engineer and othl"r members of the administrative staff to detennine the impact of the <br />proposed operations upon drainage patterns. adjacent properties, wetlands, and bodies of <br />water. The permit may be approved as submitted. approved with modifications, or <br />rejected because of specifically stated adverse impacts. ]f denied. the applicant may <br />appeal the administrative decision to the City Council within ten (10) days. <br />1325.09 Antennas. Satellite Dish Antennas and Towers. <br />Subd. ] Applicability. The regulations in this subsection shall apply to any antenna or <br />tower. Dish antennas under thirty (30) inches in diameter. six (6) square feet in area. or <br />six (6) feet in height. regardless of zoning district or type of mounting (roof. wall, ground <br />or pole) are exempted from these regulations. <br />Subd.2 Conditional Use Permit Required. Antennas. satellite dish antennas and <br />towers are allowed only as conditional accessol)' uses. They arc therefore allowed only <br />on property containing a principal use to which the antenna. dish antenna or tower is <br />accessory. No antenna. dish antenna or tower shall hereafter be erected, constmcted or <br />placed, or re.erected. reconstructed or replaced without a Conditional Use Permit, except <br />as exempted in paragraph (I) immediately ahove. <br />Subd.3 Height. The height of an antenna. dish antenna or tower shall be measured <br />from thl" ground at the base of the antenna or tower to the highest point of the antenna or <br />tower. No antenna. dish antenna or tower shall exceed the following height limitations: <br /> A. A dish antenna shall not excecd fiftecn (15) teet in height if ground or pole <br /> mounted and shall not extend more than twelve (12) feet above the roofifit . <br /> is roof mounted. ]h'gardless of these height limitations, the antenna shall be <br /> mounted as close to the ground or roof as practical. <br /> B. No antenna or tower shall exceed a hcight of seventy- five (75) feet. <br /> C No antcnna or tower shall exceed a height equal to the distance from the <br /> bast' of the tower to the nearcst ovt'rhead electrical power line (except <br /> individual service drops), less five (5) fct't. <br /> D. On City watcr towers. antennas placed on the top of the tower shall not <br /> exct't'd the height of the tallest existing antenna placed at that location at the <br /> time that this Codc is amended. <br />Suhd.4 Location. Antcnnas and towcrs shall be locatt'd on sites or buildings in areas <br />that are the least obtrusive to nearby properties and public streets. Antennas or towers <br />shall be located only on sites containing an allowable principal use.
