<br /> Subd.40 Day care f~lcility. Any facility, public or privatc, which for gain or otherwise, . <br /> rq,TlJlarly provides one or more pcrsons with care, training, supervision, habilitation, <br /> rehabilitation or developmental guidance on a re!:,'1llar basis, for periods of less than <br /> twenty-four (24) hours per day, in a placc other than the person's own home, including <br /> but not limited to family day carc homes, group family day care homes, day care centers, <br /> day nurseries, nurscry schools, preschool programs, daytime activity centers, day <br /> trcatmcnt programs and day scrvices. <br /> Subd.41 Density. The number of dwelling units permitted by this Code on one (1) <br /> acre. <br /> Subd.42 Density nct. Thc number of dwelling units pennitted by the Code on one (1) <br /> net acre of land. <br /> Subd.43 Dcnsity transfer. The relocation of housing units or square footage of <br /> building area computcd on part of a building sitc to another part of the site resulting in an <br /> increasc in density to thc transfer area for the purpose of preserving opcn space, forested <br /> areas, environmcntal or tcrrain fcaturcs deemed worthy of prcscrvation by the Planning <br /> Commission. <br /> Subd.44 Density zoning. Dcnsity zoning shall be interpreted as thc provision of lot <br /> areas smaller than thc minimum requirement of this Code undcr conditions whereby the . <br /> total number of dwelling units is not greatcr than the amount permitted under normal <br /> conditions. <br /> Subd,45 Dog kennel, Commercinl. A structure specifically designed and commercially <br /> used for the harboring ofthrec (3) or morc dogs that are more than thrce (3) months old. <br /> Subd.46 Dog kennel, Residential. A structurc specifically designed and rcsidentially <br /> used f()r harboring of up to three (3) dogs that are more than three (3) months old. <br /> Suhd.47 Dog Run. A structure specifically designcd for domestic use for thc harboring <br /> and cxercise of not more than two (2) dogs. <br /> Subd.4X Drive-in business. Any busincss establishmcnt offering to customers a service <br /> which is primarily or exclusively laid out, designcd, equipped or operated so as to allow <br /> its customcrs to purchase and receive such service without having to cntcr the building <br /> and usually whilc remaining in thcir automobilcs. By way of illustration, but without <br /> limitation, drive-in businesses include: drivc-in banks, drive-in laundry or dry c1caning <br /> establishments, but do not include businesses where preparcd commodities, such as <br /> prepared food, beverages or dairy products are sold. <br /> Grocery stores, confectionery stores, drugstores, or restaurants which offer "takc home" <br /> f()od services as an incidental part of their business shall not be considered drivc-in <br /> businesscs. . <br /> Section 1305 - Rules.
