<br />~ <br />~HILLS <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN illLLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07-37 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE RICE CREEK NORTH REGIONAL TRAIL. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in June 2006, the United States Government conveyed the Rice Creek <br />Corridor through Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant (TCAAP) to Ramsey County Parks <br />and Recreation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County proposes to construct a trail through the corridor from <br />County Road H to County Road I in the summer of2007; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills is committed to providing recreational <br />opportunities and promoting healthy living opportunities for its residents and visitors; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed trail will benefit the City of Arden Hills, Mounds View <br />School District 621, and Ramsey County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parks, Trails, and Recreation Committee reviewed the proposed <br />trail plans at their meeting on February 22, 2007 and stated their support; and <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED: The City of Arden Hills supports the Rice <br />Creek North Regional Trail. <br /> <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C TY OF <br />TillS 12TH DAY OF MARCH, 2007. <br /> <br /> <br />YOR <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />(^~~~~ <br /> <br />Michelle Wolfe, CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br /> <br />\\Metro-inet.us\ardenhills\Admin\Council\Resolutions\2007\07-37.
