<br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE 2007 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT
<br />PROGRAM
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement of the
<br />following streets: Brighton Way, Lametti Lane, Lametti Circle, Connelly Avenue,
<br />Briarknoll Circle, Briarknoll Drive, Dawn Circle East, Royal Lane, and Karth Lake
<br />Circle, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the City
<br />Administrator of said City, said bids were received on Tuesday, March 13,2007, at 11 :00
<br />a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received
<br />complying with the advertisement:

<br />Bituminous Roadways $1,273,010.14
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, it appears that Midwest Asphalt Corporation of Hopkins,
<br />Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of$I,106,991.85;
<br />
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
<br />ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA:
<br />
<br />1. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter
<br />into a contract with Midwest Asphalt Corporation for $1,106,991.85 in the name
<br />of the City of Arden Hills for the above improvements according to the plans and
<br />specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the
<br />office of the City Administrator.
<br />2. This approval is contingent on the approval of the contract by the Roseville City
<br />Council for their work included in the contract.
