<br />~ <br />~HILLS <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07-43 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED, AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a contract has been let and costs have been determined for the City of <br />Arden Hills 2007 Pavement Management Program improvement of the following streets: <br />Brighton Way, Lametti Lane, Lametti Circle, Connelly Avenue, Briarknoll Circle, Briarknoll <br />Drive, Dawn Circle East, Royal Lane, and Karth Lake Circle, for the maintenance of the <br />street by the milling, paving, concrete curb and gutter repair, utility repair, and necessary <br />appurtenances; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the contract price for such improvement is $646,410.48, and the <br />expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to <br />$185,981.90, so that the total cost of the improvement will be $832,392.38. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City Council as follows: <br /> <br />I. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the city is hereby declared to be <br />$462,086.99 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is <br />declared to be $370,305.39. <br /> <br />2. The City Administrator, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate <br />the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable <br />lot, piece or parcel ofland within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as <br />provided by law, and she shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for <br />public inspection. <br /> <br />3.
