Motion to Approve the Planning Commission's Interpretation of the Zoning Code that 5th <br />Wheel RVs should be Measured from the Far Front to the Far Back of the RV. <br /> <br />B. Motion to Deny Planning Case 07-006 for a Conditional Use Permit Based on the Nineteen <br />Findings of Fact in the April 30, 2007, Planning Case Report. <br /> <br />Back2ronnd <br /> <br />This planning case involved two separate but directly related questions. First, the Planning <br />Commission needed to determine how the length of an RV should be measured. Secondly, <br />depending on the results of the first question, the Planning Commission needed to determine if <br />the 5th wheel RV in this particular application met the requirements to receive a Conditional Use <br />Permit (CUP). <br /> <br />The Zoning Code does not prescribe a specific method for measuring the length ofRVs. RVs <br />include motor homes, travel trailers, boats, ATVs, 5th wheels, etc. While Staff has typically <br />measured an RV from end to end in the past, that measurement procedure is not specified in the <br />Zoning Code.
