<br />~ <br />~~HILLS <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07-55 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING SPECIAL ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE 2007 PMP <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council has <br />met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br />improvement ofthe City of Arden Hills 2007 Pavement Management Program improvement <br />of the following streets: Brighton Way, Lametti Lane, Lametti Circle, Connelly Avenue, <br />Briarknoll Circle, Briarknoll Drive, Dawn Circle East, Royal Lane, and Karth Lake Circle, <br />for the maintenance of the street by the milling, paving, concrete curb and gutter repair, <br />utility repair, and necessary appurtenances, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City Council that: <br /> <br />1. Such proposed assessment roll, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, <br />is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br />therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the <br />proposed improvement in the amount ofthe assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />2. Such assessment shall be payable in installments extending over a <br />period of _ years, unless prepaid, the first of the installments to be payable with general <br />taxes levied in 2007, collectible with such taxes during the year of2008, and shall bear <br />interest at the rate of_percent per annum from the date of the adoption of this <br />assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment <br />from the date ofthis resolution until December 31, 2007. To each subsequent installment <br />when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br />3. If the adopted assessment differs from the proposed assessment as to any particular lot, <br />piece, or parcel of land, the City Administrator shall mail to the owner a notice stating the <br />amount of the adopted assessment. The administrator must also notify affected owners of <br />any changes adopted by the Council in interest rates or prepayment requirements from those <br />contained in the notice of the proposed assessment. <br /> <br />4. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification ofthe <br />assessment to the county auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property, to the <br />City Administrator, no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 <br /> <br />\\Metro-inel.us\ardenhillslJl.dmin\CouncilIResolutions\2007\07_S5, Adopting Proposed Special Assessment Roll 2007 PMP.doc <br />
