The existing development occurred because it satisfied the <br />objectives of the Gateway Business District. <br /> <br />6. The variance is not for economic reasons alone. <br /> <br />Response: The need for the variances is due to circumstances beyond the control of the <br />landowner. <br /> <br />7. The proposed use is permitted within the zone. <br /> <br />Response: The proposed accessory parking use is permitted within the Gateway Business <br />Zoning. <br /> <br />We look forward to meeting with the Planning Commission and City Council to discuss this minor but <br />very important project. We are confident that we have addressed the concerns and responded to the <br />variance findings to justify moving ahead with the project.
