Damage reports and insurance losses will be reported to <br />the County or municipal Attorney's offices for processing. <br /> <br />DElEGATION AND SUCCESSION OF EMERGENCY RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />Wherever in this document or by law duties and authority for emergency <br />roles and responsibilities are designated to specific county Department or <br />Division heads, they shall designate and include in their written contact <br />procedures, a chain of succession in the event either is not available to <br />immediately act in an emergency and shall file such designation list with <br />the Board of County Commissioners. <br /> <br />If an emergency occurs in the absence of the principal, the first individual <br />on such lists that can be contacted and is able to act shall have the full <br />responsibility and authority to act for the principal officer until relieved by <br />the principal or by a person with higher rank (or priority) on the established <br />list. <br /> <br />The immediate chain of succession for Ramsey County leadership is: <br /> <br />. Chair of County Board <br /> <br />. County Manager <br /> <br />. Director of Intergovernmental Relations <br /> <br />The chain of succession for each municipality is indicated in Section IV of <br />this plan beginning on page 56. <br /> <br />Emergency response leadership is described elsewhere in this plan. <br /> <br />50 <br />
