<br />Ramsey County-Wide Emergency Operations Plan <br /> <br />Revision 5.1, June, 2005 <br /> <br />Lauderdale Line of Succession <br /> <br />In the City of Lauderdale, the mayor is responsible for providing overall <br />direction and control of city government resource. The city emergency <br />management director will serve in a staff capacity to the mayor, and will <br />coordinated emergency operations. The city emergency management <br />director will also serve as a liaison with the Ramsey County EMHS <br />director. <br /> <br />Direction and control for the city's response will take ptace from the <br />Lauderdale EOC at 1891 Walnut street. <br /> <br />Mayor <br />o Mayor <br />o Acting Mayor <br />o Councit member (based on seniority) <br /> <br />Emergency Management Director <br />o City Administrator <br />o Assistant to the City Administrator <br /> <br />Public Works Director: <br />o Public Works Coordinator <br />o Mainteuance <br /> <br />Command and Control issues <br /> <br />Mayor and/or City Administrator - overall supervision of operations; <br />communications with various state and federat agencies; communications <br />with media; assist with all formal public information releases. <br /> <br />EM Director - Overall emergency and resource management; EOC <br />management; crisis relocation and evacuation. <br /> <br />Attorney - tegal counsel; intelligence and generat public information; <br />documentation, records and reports. <br /> <br />Assistant to the City Administrator - financial services; assembly of maps <br />and other data for presentation. <br /> <br />Public Works - field surveys and damage assessment; emergency <br />engineering services; emergency repairs and cost estimating. <br /> <br />Maintenance - emergency water, sewer, and electrical services; emergency <br />personnel and equipment; equipment management; roadway clearing and <br />debris removal; emergency repairs <br /> <br />64 <br />
