Procedure <br /> <br />Pandemic Instructions <br /> <br />RESPONSIBILITY: <br /> <br />In conjunction with the State of Minnesota and Ramsey County, the <br />City of Arden Hills shall be responsible for the monitoring the entire <br />public health spectrum, including: <br /> <br />Coordination of emergency shelter, medical care and housing in <br />conjunction with the Minnesota Department of Health, American <br />Red Cross and School District #62] <br /> <br />Maintain up-to-date communications with neighboring government <br />entities, local residents, business owners, and media outlets. <br /> <br />Overall coordination of emergency transportation such as school <br />buses, MTC, etc. <br /> <br />. City of Arden Hills will ensure that all reasonable measures <br />are taken to limit the spread of an outbreak within and <br />beyond the City's borders. <br /> <br />. If necessary, implement the City's Emergency Operation Plan <br />and Procedures. <br /> <br />. Set up record system on personnel time, equipment, and <br />supplies. <br /> <br />Coordinate and assist police and fire regarding immediate or <br />potential threats to public health and safety: <br /> <br />. Medical (Allin a) <br />. Emergency Management (Ramsey County) <br />. Congregate Care (Red Cross, Salvation Army) <br />. Public Works Department (Public Works Related Activities) <br />. Community Development/Inspections (Habitability, Utilities) <br />. Engineering (Habitability, Utilities) <br />. LJFD Fire/Ramsey County Sheriffs Department <br />(Medical Care and Public Protection) <br /> <br />Coordinate with Ramsey County and neighboring communities' <br />distribution systems to support a comprehensive pandemic response. <br /> <br />36 <br />
