<br />ARDEN HILLS PLANNING COMMISSION -JUNE 6, 2007 <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />B. PLANNING CASE #07-013 - PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT; <br />HOOD PACKAGING; 1887 GATEWAY BOULEVARD - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Mr. Lehnhoff stated the applicants have requested a Planned Unit Development <br />Amendment to install two 2,000 gallon storage tanks to the southeast side of the building <br />at 1887 Gateway Boulevard. Staff recommended approval of the Planned Unit <br />Development Amendment subject to the following four conditions: <br /> <br /> <br />I. The project shall be completed in accordance with the plans submitted as amended by <br />the conditions of approval. Any significant changes to these plans, as determined by <br />the City Planner, shall require review and approval by the Planning Commission and <br />City Council. <br />2. The two proposed tanks shall meet all applicable Building Code and Fire Code <br />regulations. The applicant shall obtain all required permits prior to installation. <br />3. The two proposed tanks and connected recycling system shall comply with the odor, <br />noise, and other applicable Minnesota Pollution Control Agency regulations. Failure <br />to comply with these regulations may result in a revocation of the conditional use <br />permit. <br />4. The proposed fence shall be installed within two weeks of installing the tanks. <br /> <br />Chair Sand opened the public hearing at 6:39 p.m. and invited anyone for or against the <br />Planning Case to come forward. <br /> <br />The applicant explained the recycling system and new technology. He indicated this was <br />both environmentally and cost friendly. <br /> <br />Commissioner Thompson arrived at 6:41 p.m. <br /> <br />Chair Sand closed the public hearing at 6:44 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Zimmerman moved, seconded by Commissioner Larson approval of <br />Planning Case No. 07-013, for a Planned Unit Development Amendment at 1887 <br />Gateway Boulevard based on the findings of fact and the submitted plans as amended by <br />the four conditions in the June 6, 2007, Planning Case report. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously (7-0). <br /> <br />O~~f1 <br />
