<br />~ <br />~HlLLS <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 07-62 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE FIRE PROTECTION SERVICE CONTRACT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS AND THE <br />LAKE JOHANNA VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills entered into a Fire Protection Service <br />Contract ("Contract") with the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. <br />("Fire Department"), approved by Resolution No. 98-68, adopted on November <br />30,1998; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Contract was effective January 1, 1999, through <br />December 31, 2003, with a provision for renewal of the Contract for an Extended <br />Term from January 1,2004 through December 31,2008; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Contract requires that prior to the renewal of the Contract <br />for the Extension Term January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2008, the City of <br />Arden Hills must pass a resolution by three affirmative votes expressing the <br />City's intent to extend the term of the Contract, and communicate such resolution <br />in writing to the Fire Department at least one year prior to the end of the <br />Contract; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City of Arden Hills intended to renew the Contract prior to its <br />expiration on December 31,2003; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Arden Hills City Council <br />that the City of Arden Hills intended to, and hereby does, renew the Contract with <br />the Fire Department for the term of January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2008. <br /> <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT <br />THIS 11TH DAY OF JUNE, 2007. <br /> <br /> <br />,,/.- <br /> <br />AT~~~ <br /> <br />Michelle A.
