<br />~ <br />~HILLS <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />JUNE 18,2007; 5:00 P.M. <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDEWROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Harpstead Stan Harpstead called to order <br />the City Council Work Session meeting at 5 :04 p.m. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Stan Harpstead, Councilmembers Brenda Holden, David McClung, <br />and Fran Holmes. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember David Grant (Excused) <br /> <br />Also present: City Administrator, Michelle Wolfe; Assistant City Administrator, Schawn <br />Jolmson; Community Development Director, Karen Barton; Public Works Director, Greg <br />Hoag; Parks and Recreation Manager, Michelle Olson; and City Planner, James Lehnhoff <br /> <br />Others present: Ramsey County Sheriff, Bob Fletcher, Ramsey County Undersheriff, <br />George Altendorfer; Ramsey County Commander, Joe Paget; Economic Development <br />Committee Chair, Bruce Kunkel; Representing Riley, Dettmann, & Kelsey, Rod Kelsey; <br />and Representing HGKi, Mark Koegler <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MEETING AGENDA <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember McClung moved and Mayor Harpstead seconded a <br />motion to approve the meeting agenda as presented. The motion carried <br />(4-0). <br /> <br />RAMEY COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT UPDATE <br />City Administrator Michelle Wolfe provided the City Council with an overview of the services <br />that are provided by the Ramsey County Sheriffs Department to the City of Arden Hills. Atthis <br />time, the Ramsey County law enforcement cities are beginning to discuss the 2008 budget. <br />Members of the Ramsey County Sheriffs Department are requesting feedback from the elected <br />officials regarding the present service level that is being provided and any questions or concerns <br />that the City may have at this time. <br /> <br />
