These three areas <br />are all discussed in this section. <br /> <br />Providing municipal engineering services is one of our core areas of expertise. <br />Our firm currently provides engineering services to over SO communities, either <br />as part of a consultant pool (similar to that which is being considered by Arden <br />Hills), as the consultant City Engineer, or on a project by project basis. <br />Examples of cities where we provide services as part of a pool include <br />Woodbury, Eagan, Bloomington, Shakopee, and Minnetonka, to name a few. A <br />complete listing of our current City clients is included at the end of this section. <br /> <br />Our municipal engineering group provides full services involved in the planning, <br />engineering, and construction activities necessary to implement public <br />improvement projects including street, watermain, storm water collection, <br />sanitary sewer collection and conveyance systems, and park systems. This <br />includes the services outlined in the City's request for statement of qualifications <br />for planning, design of municipal projects, and miscellaneous management <br />tasks. Our service areas are: <br /> <br />1. Design Services: <br /> <br />a. Preliminary engineering and feasibility reports <br /> <br />b. Project layouts and mapping <br /> <br />c. Detailed construction plans and final design <br /> <br />d. Easement descriptions and surveys for rights-of-way/easements <br /> <br />e. Detailed technical specifications <br /> <br />f. Cost estimates <br /> <br />g. Financing and special assessments <br /> <br />h. Contract documents and construction documents <br /> <br />i. Preliminary and final assessment reports <br /> <br />j. Lift stations and sanitary sewer systems <br /> <br />2. Comprehensive Planning: <br /> <br />a. Comprehensive systems/facility plans and studies for streets, sanitary <br />sewer, storm sewer, water, and park systems <br /> <br />b. Environmental assessment worksheets and other environmental <br />studies and applications for various funding programs, including <br />cooperative agreements, federal programs, and other grant programs <br /> <br />c.
