Rd. E. We have been customers of Arden Pharmacy <br />(Arden Plaza) to date and are very pleased with their service. <br /> <br />We object to Walgreens coming in with a "big box" store at the corner of Lexington and <br />Co. Rd. E for several reasons: 1) Arden Pharmacy would lose its lease; 2)big box <br />pharmacies already in place (Cub and Target); 3) traffic congestion and parking at the <br />current complex are bad already; and 4) afternoon traffic is always jammed because a <br />train daily shuts down Lexington and Co. Rd. E during rush hour. <br /> <br />Northern Arden Hills, Shoreview and North Oaks certainly could use a new Walgreens <br />along Highway 96 (I suggest the corner of Hwy 96 and Hwy 10). <br /> <br />The personal relationships by the staff at Arden Pharmacy these past 23 years are <br />important and we consider them "family" when it comes to our needs. I can't imagine <br />that to be the case with the bog box chains like CVS or Walgreens. <br /> <br />I hope you do NOT approve this request by Walgreens. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />John J.
