One of the many reasons that we love Arden Hills is the sll\QlI-town community feel.
We don't want or need big box, impersonal stores like Walgreens. And we certairtly don't need the increased
tr<<ffic nor the non-Arden Hills residents tI1at a Walgrcens would bring to the area.

Speaking of the tl'Clffic, have you visited the shopping center on a weekday at IUllch time or after work? You con
Iitel'Cllly woit minutes to turn from either County Rd E or Lexington Ave into the shopping center, and it's worse
trying to make a left hand turn to get out of the shopping center. Increasing the space for people to wait to get
out of the shopping center is NOT a solutionll It'I$ even worse if the gdes ore down for G train crossing. And if you
are getting the applicant to do a traffic study, please Il\Qke sure that it's during the September thru May time
frame, when t1'<lffic is "normal" (we're sure you realize that the summer months produce much lighter traffic, with
school out and IIlOIIY people taking vocations.

fl'Clm talking with many of my neighbors, they feel the some way. We hope that you ore taking the feelings of the
residents into consideration. We understand that some of the busineSS members in Arden PloZll have expressed a
positive response to a Walgreens - but they dllll't live in Arden Hills and should I~ot get a say in what we want in
our communilyl

Please rethink the application to bring the big bOlC world to Arden Plaza. We don't wont them, don't need them,
don't need the increased traffic. so please vote NO!!

Please: also share this letter with Mayor Stan Harpstead and the CoWICiI, we would appreciate it.

Thanking you in advance for your considel'Cltion,

u\~~~~
AgatJ R~s;o~
3445 Glen Arden Ct
Arden Hill$.
