<br />~ <br />~~HILLS <br /> <br />Approved: October 29, 2007 <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />AUGUST 13, 2007; 8:22 PM <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Harpstead called the meeting to order at 8:22 p.rn. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Stan Harpstead, Councilmembers David Grant, Brenda Holden, <br />Dave McClung, and Fran Holmes. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Staff Present: City Administrator, Michelle Wolfe; Public Works Director, Gregory <br />Hoag; City Planner, James Lehnhoff; Community Developrnent Director, Karen Barton; <br />Civil Engineer, Kris Giga; and Recording Secretary, Kathleen Altman. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MEETING AGENDA <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden requested they also discuss County Road H in this discussion. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Harpstead moved and Councilmember Grant seconded a motion to <br />approve the meeting agenda as amended. The motion carried unanimously <br />(5-0). <br /> <br />HIGHWAY 10 AND 96 DISCUSSION <br /> <br />Mayor Harpstead noted this meeting was the opportunity for Council to talk and there would be <br />no open format for public comment at this meeting. He asked should the City of Arden Hills <br />support a grade separation at Highway 10 and 96. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden stated if the taxpayers of the City had to pay for it, she was not happy <br />with the grade separation, but if the system was spread out among TCAAP or if MnIDOT or the <br />county wanted to pay for it, she would be in more favor of it. <br />
