When I told my play-going partner, she said I spoiled the
whole night.

Hardly a day goes by that I don't stop in at the Plaza. I don't know what I'd do without the drug store for prescriptions,
gifts, health and personal needs and greeting cards. A do-it-yourself or garden project invariably brings two or three trips
to the hardware. I've gotten my hair cut there for ten or so years. The restaurant sees us enjoying Chinese food every so
often. It's the only laundry/cleaners we've ever used.

I do this in spite of the terrible traffic on Cty. Rd E. I hate to think of adding more cars to the area.

So you can see the stores at Arden Plaza are one of the blessings of living in Arden Hills. We also save on gasoline and
spare the environment.

If you OK the proposed "development", I will have to drive up and down HWY 96 to find comparable shopping. One thing
is sure, I will NOT shop at Walgreens. Even when I am at Byerly's I skip the Walgreens and travel to Arden Plaza for
drugs and sundries.

Marilyn Rogers
1574 Oak Avenue

8/29/2007
