<br />A proposed RV ordinance was drafted and presented to the Planning Commission at the October <br />3, 2007, Planning Commission meeting. At that meeting, the Planning Commission voted <br />unanimously to table the RV ordinance so staff could do additional research and clarify certain <br />aspects ofthe proposed code. <br /> <br />A work session was held prior to the November 7, 2007, meeting to further discuss specific <br />regulations and concerns raised by the Commissioners at the October 3, 2007, meeting. Some <br />discussion took place and additional questions were raised. At the November 7, 2007 regular <br />Planning Commission Meeting, another public hearing was held and the Planning Commission <br />voted unanimously to again table the RV ordinance. <br /> <br />A second work session was held prior to the October 5, 2007 meeting to give staff a chance to <br />present an updated proposed ordinance and to further discuss the concerns raised by the <br />Commissioners. No official action or decisions can be made at a work session meeting. At this <br />time, the Planning Commission may choose to approve the proposed RV ordinance with the <br />changes discussed at the work session, deny the ordinance, or table it for additional research and <br />review. <br /> <br />Options and Motion Lanl!ual!e <br /> <br />1. Recommend Approval (with Commission Chanf!es): Motion to recommend approval of <br />Planning Case 07-025 to amend the Recreational Vehicle Ordinance Section, 1325.10 of the <br />Zoning Code, as presented in the December 5, 2007, planning case report (with changes) <br /> <br />2. Recommend Denial: Motion to recommend denial of Planning Case 07-025 to amend the <br />Recreational Vehicle Ordinance as proposed in the December 5, 2007, planning case report <br />(recommending denial should include specific reasons). <br /> <br />3. Table: Motion to table Planning Case 07-025 to amend the Recreational Vehicle Ordinance <br />as proposed in the December 5, 2007, planning case report for the following reasons... <br /> <br />A change to the Zoning Code requires a public hearing before the Planning Commission and <br />approval from 4/5 of the City Council. The Zoning Code change would go into effect upon <br />publication in the official City newspaper. <br /> <br />Notice <br /> <br />Notice was published in the Shoreview-Arden Hills Bulletin. Staff has received a few e-mails <br />and telephone calls from property owners or occupants in regard to this planning case, in <br />addition to those received at the October 3, 2007 and November 7, 2007 Planning Commission <br />meeting.
