<br />"Watercraft". Specifically, all watercraft were removed from the definition of <br />recreational vehicles and utility trailers so that the definitions would more accurately <br />reflect the commonly understood use of these terms. Watercraft vehicles continue to be <br />regulated under this ordinance, but are now listed separately from other types of RVs. <br />For the purposes of this ordinance the term "RV" is used to reference those vehicles <br />defined as recreational vehicles, as well as any utility trailers. <br /> <br />The term "Watercraft" has replaced the term "Water-Oriented RV" and the definition <br />now reads: <br /> <br />Watercraft. Water-oriented vehicles and their trailers including, but not limited <br />to, power boats, cruisers, jet skies, fishing/hunting boats, pontoon boats, as well <br />as, row boats, sail boats, and other non-motorized craft with greater than two <br />person capacity. This definition excludes non-motorized one and two person <br />crafts such as canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats. <br /> <br />In addition to boatlifts, non-motorized one and two person watercraft have been excluded <br />from this definition entirely. These items will be dealt with in the Shoreline Management <br />Code. <br /> <br />Number of Permitted RVs and Watercraft <br /> <br />Based on the discussion at the November 7th work session, the number of permitted RVs <br />and watercraft has been set at three; however, of these, only one may be a motor home or <br />other such vehicle. <br /> <br />On shoreline properties, the number of additionally permitted watercraft has been <br />reduced to two. This number was reduced because the definition of watercraft no longer <br />includes canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats. Based on this ordinance, the owner of a <br />shoreline lot would be permitted to have up to five RVs, trailers, and watercraft. Only <br />one of the RVs could be a motor home or other such vehicle. <br /> <br />Height/Length <br /> <br />The maximum height of any RV or watercraft has been set at twelve feet. This is the <br />minimum height that can be regulated without functionally prohibiting motor homes and <br />travel trailers within the City. <br /> <br />In addition to the 28 foot maximum length, a regulation has been added that would permit <br />one motor home to be kept on property that is between the length of 28 and 34 feet, if <br />certain requirements are met. The new language reads as follows: <br /> <br />A.
