There <br />has been a great deal of careful planning undertaken over the past twelve years based on the visions <br />of the community, and the City is now prepared to make these visions a reality, WSB & Associates, <br />Inc. is glad to have the opportunity to be part of a project that will shape the future of the City for <br />years to come. <br /> <br />We have selected a team to serve the City of Arden Hills that will bring value and experience to the <br />City. We have highlighted a number of reasons why we believe we can provide the services the City <br />needs, while providing the greatest overall value as well. The following are a few of the key reasons <br />why we are the right consultant for this project: <br /> <br />. StrollS?: Client Manager: I bring strong, relevant qualifications to this project. I have had the <br />unique opportunity to provide these types of services to communities for the past 10 years as <br />a staff City Engineer, Consultant City Engineer, and in communities that contract for the <br />service in a manner similar to this RFP. I have managed the review of development proposals <br />from individual commercial developments to mixed-use projects covering as much as 750 <br />acres, many of which required coordination with outside agencies, environmental documents <br />and remediation, and substantial infrastructure improvements. <br /> <br />. Provide Solutions: Our development review team will not simply review plans and provide <br />comments; we will provide input to the City and the developer regarding design standards, <br />evaluation of proposed development options, and consideration of sustainable development <br />techniques. This will result in maximum cost effectiveness and value for both the City and <br />the developer. We will be a benefit to both the City and developer by developing solutions <br />that get the work and allow the project to move forward. <br /> <br />. Review with End Product in Mind: When we review development plans, no matter how <br />preliminary, we review them with an eye for function, constructability, long term <br />maintenance, and cost effectiveness.
