<br />~ <br />~HlLLS <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 393 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE MINNESOTA STATE FIRE CODE <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Arden Hills ordains that Section 900.06 of the Arden <br />Hills City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />900.06 <br /> <br />Fire Code. The International Fire Code, (See International Fire Code <br />Section 101.1, 2006 Addition) as published by the International Code <br />Council and amended by the State of Minnesota; and each and all of the <br />regulations, provisions, conditions and terms of the Minnesota State Fire <br />Code, on file in the Office of the Building Officials of the City of Arden <br />Hills, are hereby adopted as the Fire Code of the City of Arden Hills for <br />regulating and governing the safeguarding of life and property from fire <br />and explosion hazards arising from the storage, handling, and use of <br />hazard substances, materials and devices, and from conditions hazardous <br />to life or property in the occupancy of buildings and premises in the City <br />of Arden Hills and providing for the issuance of permits for hazardous <br />uses or operations. <br /> <br />The geographic limits referred to in certain sections of the Minnesota <br />State Fire Code are hereby established as follows: <br /> <br />Section 3204.2.1. The storage of flammable cryogenic <br />fluids in stationary containers is prohibited in zoning <br />districts R-1, R-2, R-3 and R-4. <br /> <br />Section 3404.2.9. The Storage of Class I and Class II <br />liquids in above-ground tanks is prohibited in all districts, <br />except 1-2. <br /> <br />Section 3804.2. The storage of bulk liquefied petroleum <br />gas is restricted for the protection of heavily populated or <br />
