<br />Memo <br />City Council <br />2008 Budget and Tax Levy <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />As part of the annual budget and levy adoption process, the Council is also asked to approve the 2008 <br />City contribution for employee benefits. The employee contribution rate of $648 per month per employee <br />for 2008 has been calculated into the proposed budget. <br /> <br />Recommended Action: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the Council approve the 2008 budget, tax levies, and employee benefit <br />contribution as per the following Resolutions: <br /> <br />1. Adopt Resolution 07-75, a Resolution adopting the proposed 2008 Budget in the amount of <br />$9,331,559; <br />2. Adopt Resolution 07-76, a Resolution setting the fmal levy for taxes payable in 2008 in the <br />amount of $2,797,348; <br />3. Adopt Resolution 07-77, a Resolution setting the City Contribution to Employee Monthly <br />Benefits at the amount of $648 per month, per employee (provided they participate in the HSA <br />plan or single coverage if they participate in the Co-Pay Plan). <br /> <br />Attachments: <br />Proposed 2008 Budget <br />Resolution 07-75 <br />Resolution 07-76 <br />Resolution 07-77 <br />
