This <br />District was established as a special taxing district for the purpose of establishing a funding <br />source to install a pumping system in the lake to help control water levels. Karth Lake does not <br />have any natural outlet points. Bylaws were also established at that time. <br /> <br />The Board of Directors is recommending a change to section 3.0 of the bylaws to change the <br />term expiration date to correspond with the annual meeting date and election. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION <br />Staff and the Karth Lake Improvement District Board of Directors are requesting the City <br />Council adopt Resolution No. 07-79 amending the Bylaws of the Improvement District. <br />
